66. Write a Letter to a Soldier/ 29. THat News Watch stuff

So, for those who don't know, next month my older cousin Jeff will be shipping off the Middle East in January to go fight in this war.  He's pretty much my hero in the completely cliche way that a soldier is my hero.

I really like all soldiers though, regardless of branch or anything.

So I started a letter writing campaign.  I wrote and mailed over 50 Christmas cards to different soldiers in different countries.  They were awesome, they went out right after Thanksgiving.  Hopefully those boys are reading my letters in time for the holidays.  I hope they enjoy them!   Maybe I'll get some responses.

I also sent some care packages to my friend's family members.

I sent a letter to Jeff while he's in South Carolina.  He'll be getting another and a care package when he goes to the Middle East.  Perhaps some Princess gummies and other things.  We'll see what my poor college self feels like packing up for him.

Also Number 29.  Be a News Watch Anchor or Producer is semi-done.

I was an anchor for News Watch switchcast.  It was a lot of fun.  I managed to make a fool out of myself.  Claiming there was a charity for "low income homos"  (supposed to be homeowners.  I really loved anchoring.  I say this one is under constructions because now I hope to do it full time in the next semesters. It was so much fun though and not have to make fun of myself every time it airs.
